Finding the right company to assist your fundraiser depends a lot on your group and the type of fundraiser that you would like to conduct. In order for a company to properly help your organization, you must first be able to answer the following questions about your group:

1. What are your goals? How much do we need and when?
2. When do we need the money?
3. What are you using the money for?
4. How many participants will you have?
5. What do you want to sell?
6. Do you have any sponsors?
7. Direct Sale vs. Order Taker?

Once you understand your needs, you can look for the right company to assist your group. Some questions that you may want to ask a fundraising company are:

1. What products do you specialize in?
2. Do you offer direct sales, order takers or both?
3. How long have you been in business?
4. Do you have sales representatives?
5. Do you offer a product guarantee?
6. What kind of profits can our group expect to earn?
7. How long does it take to make the merchandise?
8. What is your return policy?
9. Are credit terms available, or are we required to pay in advance?
10. What is your freight policy?
11. Are there minimum ordering requirements?
12. What about reorders?
13. What setup fees will be charged if any?
14. Do you have a brochure or free sample?
15. Can you provide references?
